     On the first Tuesday in November of an even numbered year elections shall be held so Male White Landowners may vote... So says the Constitution. Or at least something close to that. So I now bring you our first ever Juicebox Thoughts Election Day endorsements.

     Wait. First let me say this. If you don't feel like voting, don't vote. Don't feel pressured to vote. Yes, it is your civic duty, but if you did not bother to educate yourself about the issues or the candidates? Don't feel pressured to go in the voting booth and just push a bunch of random buttons. We Raised money to #Eff CF (fight cystic fibrosis) I just think saying or shouting Eff CF! is so much more declarative against this deadly disease. Also I refuse to capitalize cystic fibrosis. Some of you may have noticed the name of Thomas Martin floating around a lot of the posts lately. I have been remiss in not making a more public display of gratitude to Mr. Martin for all of his wonderful contributions to Juicebox Thoughts. Alright enough of the flowery talk.
No, he deserves to hear it. 😺
Thomas has been nothing less then a godsend to Juicebox Thoughts. His perspective is unique and frankly underrepresented in today's Internet culture. He is one of my absolute favorite people in the world. I, and by extension all of you, are lucky to experience any part of his worldview. He is constantly showing me new facets of the culture. Music, books, sports, cuisine, politics, fashion... I trust his instincts without question and his judgement resolutely. So, if you get a chance, drop him a line! Ask him anything really.
Now is the time that I should be posting a picture of him but I didn't ask his permission first. Maybe next week.

That is until the users of okcupid, the female users rose up and declared my friend as one of  'the most attractive people on OkCupid'. The worst Sentence in the email from OkCupid? Is highlighted in blue. 'You'll now see more attractive people in your match results.'
Wow.... I really wish I could post a picture so you could see what my buddy 1⃣2⃣3⃣4⃣5⃣6⃣ looks like. But I promised. So people! Be wary of online dating services. It appears OkCupid is unscrupulous at best in dealing with matchmaking.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the note. This means a lot to me. We are constantly tweaking and unfortunately not always right! Our goal was to minimize confusion some of the users had as they accidentally made changes without not knowing what's going on. We also had the issue of clutter. But all that said, we had many people writing us about this master level feature so as result, we have to listen and bring it back.

Thanks again for being so great and hope we can fulfill your creative journey.

I realize I may seem a bit too involved, but this is my livelihood, one of my passions, and I will gladly pay for the older version 3.5.1. Is there anything you can do?

A Shot In The Dark For Lightt.

First, a little background. I love shooting and making videos with my Apple devices. When crafting these short films I use several different apps, oftentimes on a single video,  to produce the haphazard equanimity in virtue they possess. Last week I downloaded the iOS app Lightt for the first time. After using it for only a matter of hours I realized how truly groundbreaking of a video editing and creation app it was. Then the next morning an update for Lightt came out and destroyed 75% of what made Lightt great. Gone was the ability to switch between visual fx or filters on the fly. Other aspects of the app were severely watered down. Confused, saddened, and underslept, I tried emailing Lightt to figure out what had happened but the response I got was so simplistic I began to wonder if I had really used such an amazing app at all. In a last ditch effort to understand what was going on, I decided to email Lightt's CEO. Here is the email.

Sometimes It Snows In April.

It is April in Minneapolis. The sun is shining without a cloud in the sky. The temperature is 5 degrees fahrenheit. It is freezing. Its like the sun has reversed its natural function and is now sucking the heat from the earth instead of providing it. Its bright out.
